BIOGRAPHY

Luis Mendez was born March 29, 1997. Mendez graduated from high school in 2015 at California City High School. Continuing his education, Mendez studied at California State University Bakersfield, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and a Single Subject Credential in Art in the Kern High Residency Program. Mendez plans to receive his Master of Arts in the coming future.

Group Exhibitions (Past)

Pinnacle is a group exhibition presented by the graduating class of the Fine Arts department. The exhibition was in the Todd Madagin Gallery. 2019. (Image from exhibit on right)

Taste of the Arts is a campus event presented by the Art and Humanities department of California State University of Bakersfield allowing students to display their artwork while viewers explored the displayed artworks.  

Prof. Joyce Khol presented the students of ART 2300 3-D foundation art works, focused on literature, in ART 2300, California State University of Bakersfield Walter Stiern Library.
